Brokerage · Fictional demo
Charts that read like print, fills that read like receipts, and a desk that never dresses risk up as anything else. Trading, typeset properly.
*Fictional brand · demo data only · nothing here is investment advice
The book
Entry, last, and what the difference is worth. No sparkline, no sentiment score, no coloured arrow telling you how to feel about it. MFRG is the position in the chart above — same hundred shares, same entry, same last print, ticking as you read.

Every P/L on this page is (last − entry) × quantity, computed in your browser from the three numbers beside it. If the arithmetic ever disagrees with the column, the column is wrong — not the arithmetic.
How the tape reads
That is the whole vocabulary. Everything else — the shapes with names, the patterns with promises — is somebody else's story laid over these four prints. Here is one MFRG minute, built one number at a time.
The first print of the interval. Where the auction started, and nothing more than that.
The best price anyone actually paid. It lives on the wick — a tall wick is an argument, not a result.
The worst print inside the same minute. Being under your entry here is not a loss; it is a price that existed.
The last print. The body is close against open, and its colour claims exactly that — never that the next one is green.
Execution & costs
Not a summary of the schedule. The schedule. If a line item is not here, we do not charge it — and if we ever add one, it lands on this page before it lands on your statement.
Three ways, all of them printed above: interest on idle cash we have not swept for you, margin at the rate in the table, and thirty-five cents a contract. No payment for order flow — every fill prints the venue that filled it, so you can check the fill against the tape yourself. That is the entire business model, and it is the only reason the equity line says $0.00 without an asterisk.
Open a desk
Every account opens in paper mode. Simulated funds, the same chart, the same confirms, the same fee schedule down to the pass-throughs. Fund it when the confirms stop surprising you — or don't, and keep reading the tape for free.
TAPE is a fictional brokerage built for a design demo. MFRG, ORNQ, HLDE, SLPT, AERD and STRW are invented symbols and the companies behind them do not exist. The chart is a random walk generated in your browser; the positions, fees, fill times and percentages are written copy, not records. Nothing on this page is investment advice, a recommendation, a solicitation or an offer, and no figure shown here is a projection, a target, or a return anyone achieved or could achieve. Trading real securities involves risk, including the loss of the amount invested.
